We'll start our day with a full day sightseeing in the beautiful Kathmandu Valley. Our own ANA guide will accompany you, who is a specialist on the valley's architecture, culture, and history. The holy, old shrines of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath, all of which are still extremely active, are among the sights and activities of the day. The fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflecting the ancient Nepalese culture are highlighted on our guided tour. Pashupatinath is one of the most famous Shiva shrines in the world, as well as a place where dignitaries can be cremation. From dawn to night, worshipers go to Boudhanath, one of Asia's largest and most beautiful stupas. The Monkey Temple, also known as Swayambhunath, is up on a hill overlooking the city. On return to your hotel you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the popular streets.
